On Saturday Matt and I attended the Kennett Brewfest. Our day started at noon for the connoisseur tasting and didn't end until 5:30. In between we had the opportunity to sample some of the finest craft brewed beers in the country. Of course there were some really good ones and some not so good ones but there were a few that stood out for me.
Stone's 10Th Anniversary IPA, a very tasty double IPA. The Shed brewing co. out of Stowe VT had a triple IPA that my have been my favorite. Boulder Brewing co. from Colorado had an IPA they called Hops and Infused which I think Matt really liked. It is no coincidence that all of my favorites were really hoppy beers. The best part was I woke up the next day feeling pretty damn good, no hang over at all.
Sunday was the much anticipated Eagles Dallas game. I have been a huge Eagles fan for years and a season ticket holder for last 8. I have seen a bunch of playoff games even a few NFC championship games, but none of them had the same amount of hype as this one.
There was even a little tribute to the EX-Eagle, Terrell Owens.
The game was one of the best I have ever seen. It went back and forth quite a bit and in the end the Eagles won 38-24. The best part is TO was a non factor.
Well I must start trying to dry out a bit,
Cheers,
Buddy
