A View From the Top...

Sunday was one of those special epic type rides. It started as a little invite from Jamie to a dozen or so friends. It turned into a 37 person group ride.

I knew right away it was going to be a long day. I was joined by Surly Bob and Rotten Rob. There were way to many to try and name them all, but I will mention my good friend Keith G aka Bobby's boy. It was good to ride with Keith again.

The riding was great, the trails in Thorpe nothing short of spectacular.

Jamie set up a nice rest stop for us.

The Philly boys went gourmet for the rest stop.

Keith and Old Man Whithers re-fuel.

There were some brutally technical descents that only a few dared to try and ride.

I gotta give Bob credit for at least trying the trail, even if it didn't go as well as he hoped.

All in all it was a great day, I want to thank Jamie, The Dutch Eagle, Lath, and the rest of the locals for putting up with us and showing us a great ride. I am already looking forward to the next trip to Thorpe.

Next up is the Curse of Dark Hollow, MMMMM 100k of Michaux, can't wait.
