The Chilly Grind...

I was lucky enough to spend the day after Thanksgiving with some friends riding in Jim Thorpe.

Jamie Huber led Marcus, Jamie Bock, Craig, The Dutch Eagle, Werner and myself around some of the best trails on the east coast.

It was a cold day but no of us seemed to mind. Thorpe is just that much fun, Always a challenging place to ride it was even more so with all the leaves down.

The loop took us across two ridges. We hit Pisgah first, including the brutal North Pisgah trail. Just a long, steady, uphill technical grind. After that we made our way to Nequehoning, for some more sweet ass single track.

Thanks to Huber for leading us around then sharing some of his beer with us after the ride.

I have to give out a Rock Star award to Marcus. Who wain Bethlehem with family. his wife drove him about half way, then he rode into Thorpe to meet us for the ride. Riding on the road into the wind on a cold fall morning then doing a 4+ hour ride through Thorpe, that is just crazy.

Good stuff all around.

Cheers,

Buddy

You should come up for a ride in the winter. Brrrrr! Plus, there are snow fleas on top of the snow.
