As if Downingtown isn't tough enough with it's lung busting steep climbs, it's ass puckering descents, and it's off camber roots. Last night you could throw in a nice layer of wet leaves that made conditions down right slimy, yet super fun.
There is just something about riding there that gets me excited. It could be the group. The Beans boys are always good company. It could be the raw nature of the trails, not the groomed stuff I am used to riding. Or it could be the cask conditioned Hop Wallops afterwards.
Regardless, I am looking forward to some fun fall and winter rides at D Town.
