At Least It Wasn't a Road Ride...

Mother nature has put a damper on riding in our area. Trail riding is out of the question, with all the rain, sleet and snow riding period is getting hard to come by. So when Matt mentioned heading out from his house to do a 2 plus hour fire road ride I was there. It was one of those strange days indeed. It started of in the low to mid 30,s and pretty wet. As we rode the temperature dropped, yet it stayed pretty wet. Which caused our bikes to be covered in frozen mud. At one point I had to stop and chip the ice out of my derailleur.

Don't get me wrong it was actually a fun ride, even if it was a bit wet and cold. The only thing that bothered me was, as we were coming up the road to leave the Fair Hill fire road system, we saw to people riding there FU%$&*# horses up a trail. What is wrong with these people, how can they blatantly destroy the trails like that. I hope there horse bites them on the ass some day.

Last night was a good time at Amy's parents Christmas party, it was good to see some people I hadn't seen in a while.

Oh Well, not much else going on.
Cheers,
Buddy

Hey, I'm out west in the Rocky Mountain and our trails are all under snow! Cool that you were able to get a ride in, even with frozen mud!
