The trails out there are freaking awesome. There isn't a whole lot of elevation gain, but it is still a pretty tough ride. It is so tight and twisty you are always on the gas. Elk not only knows the mountain bike trails, but a good portion of the Moto trails and sand roads. The loop was a lot of fun, and the pace was brisk, but not brutal. We even managed a beer break. If the opportunity to get out there again comes along, I will be all over it.
Today, well lets just say today didn't go as planned.
I did sample a beer from my second batch. It is pretty early since it has only had 2 weeks in the bottle, but man is it freakin' good. I can't wait for this one to mature all the way. I will be doing another batch just like it.
Well that's it for now.
Cheers,
Buddy

I love wharton state forest trails... but DO NOT attempt them when the weather warms up. Ticks fall from the trees like rain falls in London.
